Exam Review
Please find your final exam review below. Here are the exam dates:
Period 3: CHC2D-04 - Tuesday, January 27th, 2015
Period 4: CHC2D-03 - Wedenesday, January 28th, 2015
STUDY TIPS:
Don't leave your studying till a day or two before. Set aside 20-30 mins in the week or two before exams begin. Studying a little each night will help you in the following ways:
- increased familiarity with topics
- lets you know well in advance what you know/don't know (time to ask me!)
- reduces stress of cramming
- think 20/20 - studies show that 20 mins on, 20-30 mins off helps your brain retain more information as your attention span only lasts so long!
- make notes on the things that you are unfamiliar with, then ask for clarification or seek additional resources to fill in the gaps
- focus on BIG IDEAS - what are the enduring understandings from each unit that matter the most? (ex. Canada/U.S. relations - how have key events affected this relationship throughout the past century?)
